Some people were at Peto for 8 years. Others would have come and went for only some of those years. The common thing is we would all have been under the eye of Harry Baltins as the scary disciplinarian! ;-)

ReplyDeleteI remember Harry Baltins from around 1960-61 at PPS. We played in the playground across the road and he marched us over there in military fashion. If you were in the choir, you got a dispensation from picking up papers at lunchtime. We had a system of coloured badges, and if you were in the choir, you could note your badge accordingly.
ReplyDeleteI also remember Mrs Macarthur as my 1st grade teacher, and Heather Wridgeway as my Kindergarten teacher, and Mrs Pontifex from Year 2. Mr Wallen was the principal.
